Hey guys,

First off... I know... i should have a wheel.

Anyways, just wondering if there is anyone else like me out there using a DS3 controller?
It seems to be working fine except for in hairpins where its almost like my turning circle is gigantic. Only if i'm going very very slowly can i get around hairpins without going onto the dirt.
I have watched some videos and seen the discrepancy is compared to others that are able to go much quicker in the corner(turning radius more sharp).

Its as if the controller only has maybe 600 degrees of rotation. As i said before. Only if i slow down to 20 - 30 km can i get the last of my wheel rotation. The actual animation of the wheel takes a while before it actually rotates past a certain point.

Anyways just curious if anyone else is having or had this issue and they fixed it? Otherwise. I'm pretty in love with this game.

Cheers,
Broda

Found these on another forum. Seems to do the trick. I can actually reach full lock now when turning.. gains about ten seconds a lap if not more.

I also bumped down the steering speed. 1 felt a bit too high. Can drive more smooth with a lower value.

Hey Ace,
Do you have the issue where when you start to spin at whatever speed low or high that you can't counter steer with the controller? Its almost like its the same issue when trying to turn around a hair pin. Almost like you have to wait to turn the wheel the whole way. Kinda the same deal when you start spinning that you can't actually turn the wheel back to opposite lock.

Anyways, i played with a wheel at my buddies... and the Rift(amazing) and i could counter steer much better and stop spinning.

Anyways, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

Yeah, countersteering is usually in issue in PC sims with a gamepad, that's why I don't drift.
It's doable in Assetto Corsa though, are you using my settings now or different ones?
