DS4 playing up

I was streaming NFS RIVALS yesterday, and I just finished a speedlist in my Murcielago. I was finishing a pursuit and suddenly my controller stops functioning, my car just floors it and I have NO control over it at all. It happened a few times and only on Rivals. Anyone else run into this?

It only happened on Rivals, THE CREW, GTA, KILLZONE and all my other games play fine

Does the R2 key stick when pressed down? I've had this problem when playing BF4 where I can't stop bullet flow with R2 or spotting with L1 or R1.

No, I just lose all control, car accelerates and steering does nothing.
