Dumb Question re. Friends

When we enter races or qualifying a list shows up of "Friends" and how they have done at the same event. This also appears in the circuit tests. My questions are .....

- is this list from one's PS Friend list or folks you Follow in GT Sport?
- Why do some "friends" times vanish mid week, so I have 5 friends listed today in race B but later tonight one of them has vanished
- Is this list region dependent?

The list is populated by your PSN friends. I have never noticed a friend's time disappear midweek though.

It is region specific. I never see any of my American friends times. I don't think I've ever seen times disappear but I have noticed that the list in the first screen doesn't always match the list you see once you've entered.

Talking about friends setting track times, I have very few PlayStation friends that also actively play GT Sport, so those lists are barely ever populated in my game. I'd like to change that by adding some active GT Sport drivers to my friendslist...
Should I make a separate topic for this request or can I just leave it in here?

I did notice @Mr616 time at Interlagos briefly disappeared from my friends list last week.

And I thought it was only me. Happened last week to me. Initially I could see a few times set by my PSN buddies. Did a few laps and they were all there. The next day one of them was missing. The time reappeared a few hours later and then it disappeared again later. Weird.

Edit : region for my friends and me are all EU.

is it because the list of friends displayed is only the top 10 when viewed on the race track screen - so if someone's time drops out of that top 10 then you don't see it. If you go to the main menu for the daily race then you see all your friends.

Theres a bug in the leaderboard where some friends don't show, you need to back out and click on the leaderboard again and they will reappear .

I've noticed the times disappear myself but I think it's down to the info connection to the server that it doesn't always show 100%
info but the times usually appear by the time this race is over or qualifying session has been completed.,

Equally could also be someone in the midst of setting a new time so the game play safe and removes the old one but it's not a big problem
and I don't the majority experience it.
