Dumbest Tuning Question Ever

So I'm extremely embarrassed to be asking this. I don't usually contribute in the tuning forum but I do tune all my own cars in the game and am pretty good with it, however I don't tend to mess with the spring rate because... I don't know which slider direction is stiffer and which one is softer... There I said! Easily the dumbest question ever, feel extremely incompetent. You would think in my years as a racing fan I would've learned if bigger numbers are stiffer or softer, but apparently I haven't. Could someone please clear up my confusion?

From left to right on the slider = soft to hard.

So higher numbers = stiffer. Lower numbers = soft.

And it's not a dumb question.

The dumbest thing is that PD went so whimpy with spring tuning that one could move the slider from end to end and feel very little difference in the car or lap times.

You´re right my friend but there is a sweet point in my opinion.
Moving 10% up or down this point change the car behaviors ...... above or under this zone... it´s a dead zone.. no changes.
