E - 4 Integra - Long Corner

This is driving me crazy...

...I have all golds up to this challenge (and a fair few after) but it is bugging me...

I need 17.800 flat and I have 17.804 and have run it about 100 times now...

I have two techniques, one is to brake in the driving line red zone and then hold the accelerator while tapping the brake if needs be,

The other technique is to slide into the corner while braking late, turning then braking a second time to hit an apex on the way out for the line...

Arghhhhhhhhhh

I am sorry if there is already a guide to the challenges but I searched and couldn't find one.

If anyone has a video or can talk me through it I would be grateful...

Here's how I do it, but I'm not sure how to translate it into this way though.
Well,
Use the 1st technique then when going out of the corner, put full lock I mean really turn right and floor the gas.
Then when exiting, use the full width of the track by riding on the kerbs on the exit if you have too. That's how I got 17.760 =)

You say that but I spent 1/2 an hour on .006 only to improve to .004 and now I have left off, and will go back to it later

Had a go for my self, what I did was keep my car about half a car length from the inside kerb by pressing the throttle and then easing off for a split second then going back on the power and as soon as I was confident I wouldn't understeer into the grass I went full throttle using quite a lot of kerb. That was good enough for a 17.742.

Dude this one is easy, but your technique is too agressive.

Drive full throttle until your just about to enter the corner, off throttle for a slit sec, go into the brakes hard but only for a sec, then just coast the corner 0 throttle or brake, giving a few bumps on the gas through the corner, at apex, give her a quick shot of the brakes (not hard) to transfer your weight , Spot your exit then ease into the throttle on the way out (tap the x button from slow to quick) That will get her done.

Don't go in too fast and try to throttle your way through the corner, this is a Challenge designed to familiarize you with FF cars, you need to drive them Like FF and not like FR.

Ill do it again, then post a video in a few min.

It made me pay attention to braking without the brakes...which I thought was brilliant...

If you hit the brakes the nose throws left, just lift off and it tightens into the corner.

Easy!
