i was wondering, we only got 1 trailer for GT5 at E3 this year, what are the chances we will get one more surprise trailer from KY / GT5 team / PS3 before its all over? If we don't get any more details or videos I guess we have to wait till the Tokyo Game show in September right....:nervous:

dont expect much from the last day. the last day is usually for the smaller company's to make there announcements and the bigger company's usually stay out of it to not over shadow them. so my suggestion is sit and be patient for the TGS

Yeah looks like E3 was all about GTmobile. It would get no publicity otherwise as GT5 would cast such a huge shadow over it.

Tokyo Game Show is 24th September

That's whack............no news, only trailer

depends on how you look at news. if your saying a mention in the press conference then yes there was no news except for the trailer. but if you find news as showing more of the tracks, cars, series that will be in GT5 along with the confirmation through the video and Kaz him self that damage will officially be in GT5 then there was alot of news for GT5 . i mean were talking about the guy who likes secrets and surprises were lucky we got the trailer out of him if you ask me. i was expecting nothing more then a GT5P booth and that was it. maybe mention of more to be added to GT5P. i was and still am expecting the big announcement to come at TGS where the main audience for gT5 will be.

I got my copy of Official Playstation mag yesterday, and for next month its advertising it's got 'the full scoop' on GT5 - so more news might be coming sooner than TGS, which would be nice! I'm still hoping for news of new manufacturers to the series, fingers crossed.

Thanks snowboardfan. So sometime later this month we should get some news then, when subscribers receive their copies.

next issue is due on general sale on the 7th July, so should imagine us subscribers will get it around the 1st or 2nd of July. I'll post if they confirm anything of interest (unless of course its already come to light through one of the in-the-know users of these forums :-)

Cant. Wait. Haven't been this excited about a new game since I picked up that copy of Play magazine and saw information on the original Gran Turismo (was a bit before it got released in Japan) all those years ago....

I doubt we shall see anything else although even the short trailer has got everyone talking even on the Forza forums.

I have become very unpopular on the Forza forums saying I will drop FM3 like a hot potato when GT5 is released. Still I don't care because in my eyes the Gran Turismo series has always been the best and GT5 will be no different.

Certainly hope we see more info from the TGS because any news on GT5 is becoming like a drug!

They'll probably just confirm everything we already know for the people who know nothing about GT5 so far, then show screens from the trailer.

you may be right; their 'full scoop' might be 'hey guys, check out these screenshots from E3' which by then will be old news. They've already mentioned the possible 700+ cars and 96 tracks thing that came out of Amar's cryptic post, so i'm hopeful they will have some more facts we currently don't know about. time will tell!

I'm not so sure we're gonna see so much at TGS either... cause thats like...very soon before GTM comes out... surely PD will put more emphasis on GTM and not let GT5 information overshadow it..... but heres hoping that they do the opposite of what i said.

This year we have Tokyo Motor Show too (In October a Bi-annual event), in 2007 a lot of news came from TMS about the then upcoming GT5P, so this year I guess we can expect GT5 news from there too.

I can't wait. Apparently, Lexus is going to reveal the production LF-A.

I wonder if they will consider the due date for GT5 be around 2012 instead of fall 2010.

Yeah, you could be right about this. :indiff:
