E55 problems hooking up

I do the occasional drag here and there for fun. đź‘Ť My E55 is maxed out at 845 HP and 860 lb/ft @2500 rpm. The torque kicks in so early the car has a hard time hooking up properly. Should I add ballast? Fix LSD? If so what settings should I aim for? Suspension softer in the rear? It already has racing softs in the rear. I know they aren't the same as drag radials, but I see others hooking up off the line without TCS. HELP!

It's your trans dude, if you want to launch good without a FC trans then launch in second gear. If you installed a FC trans then adjust your first gear out (to the left) and your Final Drive way out to the left. Then you can adjust the remaining gears from there. There is no reason that car wouldn't be able to push 75mph out of first gear. In gran turismo world I mean.

Launching in 2nd or higher gear doesnt help much, same thing with my SL65 just massive tire spin.

It does accel pretty fast still though burnin em.

Yeah sometimes even with a fully extended first and final drive the tires will still light up, In that case I just recommend finding the sweetspot for second gear since first just isn't up to the task. And yeah even spinning on Racing Softs you'll still get up to speed pretty quick
