easy money

I was watching a YouTube video last night about making really fast money, using "Test track A"

So out of curiosity, I went to my tracks and I have no "Test track A"

Is it in a track pack? OR, in an update it was eliminated.

I'm not going to do the quick fix...not my thing.

It's under one of the Benchmarks layouts. I'm not in front of the Box to tell you exactly how you get to it. I prefer Rivals mode to this method of making easy money personally. Also, I'm working on some new tunes that I'll be sending over to you in the next few days.

Does that "Test track A" thing work? Does it pay better than what people are getting in rivals? And how much are people actually making with these methods in what time frame? I'm wondering now.

It works on YouTube, but I'm with Wiggs, not only do you make decent money in rivals..but you also get better driving skills ON a race course than you do INSIDE on.

That will be awesome. I hope their are not in R3 and up. You know my driving skills. Not that I don't like going fast. It's just a real challenge with a controller going fast on the grass, in the sand, backwards, along a wall.....

So how much are you guys actually making in what time frame? Just out of curiosity.

While setting up the online race you can choose which class you want your opponents to be and you will actually be able to race with any car in the game regardless of whether you own them or not. If you're going to be cutting corners (checkout video below) it won't really matter if your opponents are R3[800] and your car is R3[701] because you'll still be faster than them.

It really depends on your driving skill. If you're a decent driver you can make several million in a couple of hours by just barely beating the person right above you on the "near me" list. I think I've made 3 or 4 million before in a little over an hour.

This method is actually quite slow and you won't be making much if you use this method, rivals mode is much better for making money and developing skills even for people who aren't too good at the game (I had one of my friends who was new to racing games get to the 150k rivals quite easily).

The thing this is good for though is affinity as it gives you about 50k each time but again it's not the fastest way to get it.

That's pretty decent. Don't think it would be as effective for me as the auction house is, but for good drivers who don't really like the auction house all that much, it's definitely a better solution.

I've seen you drive. I got a note that you posted a new time in Maple Raceway, so I went over there with my "Wiggs Tuned" Lotus. While I was adjusting my mirror and fastening my seatbelt, you flew by me like you were on fire, and vanished into the sunset. You were so fast your circle never showed up on my lower left corner race track...haha

Ha ha. I wish I was that fast. I never put my best effort into Rivals...you gotta sandbag to make the most money in those events. Those Lotus tunes aren't the best for that track...I've got a decent Lancia tune for that event that I could give you, but I think it's about to come down to make room for the new monthly events...I'll send you the tune anyway tomorrow....you can still use it a few places.

I like the Lancia, it was one of my first cars that I actually could keep on the asphalt....for a while anyway.

I actually started in rivals. It took a bit to figure out that I can race my own PI group.
Lots of fun, I don't make huge money there.
BUT, I did beat a few guys...not bad for an old guy using a contoler...HAHA

When you get a grippy Porsche 914 let me know. Just bought it today, I love it.

What is the relevance of that video of somebody who can't sing drunk?

Hmm... I wonder if this would work on the test track that is a very small circle. Wide track outside, but very small barrier inside. Looks like a donut. (Layout F ?)

^ I don't think that gives you anywhere near as much money for time, although it would only take you around 8 minutes to finish a 50 lap race.

Yea, I been wondering when you were going to send those tunes you promised me.........remember? :P
