Eifel: Cloudy or Sunny?

Just noticed after watching a replay that it was sunny. While I'm on track, it's cloudy/hazy. Someone brought this up in another thread, and I don't think it was answered.

I would like to know, since I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere when Kaz was talking about the weather system, that humidity/temperature can affect how the cars handle. Has anyone found this to be true, and what are the conditions like at your Eifel?

The time changes as you run continuous laps. That is what the semi-circle/arrow mean when choosing the course. After running about 60ish laps on Toscana the sun started to go down and there was more shade on the course. This actually made it harder for me to see so I reset my game. I guess I could be completely wrong...or maybe I was hallucinating? :odd:

I noticed the time change too. I'm mainly curious if everyone has the hazy conditions at Eifel, and if it may be making a difference in grip for some people.

If there is a difference in grip...I need about 2 seconds. Hopefully sunny conditions can assist me with that haha.

Sometimes it's hazy and other times it's bright and sunny.

The other day I was climbing up that first right turn up the steep hill and the sun just came out. Felt awesome.

I don't think there's any difference in grip. Just a matter of preference. The sunshine does help with visibility obviously so that's the one to go for.

Interesting you brought it up as I was gonna post the same thing while thinking about it.

I've noticed this as well, though I don't particularly like it. I've reloaded the course a few times to get brighter conditions. Atmospheric parameters were were mentioned at TGS 2010, but I have my doubts about their true affect on performance and, since the track's icon only mentions time changes and not weather, it's not something I think we should be concerned about.
