hey guys,

my buddy and me, we are in a discussion about if eiffel 65 are gay or not!

My buddy believes, they sing "i'm blue, i'm in need of a guy, i'm in need of a guy...

I believe, they sing "i'm blue, da be die dabei da be diba dei.....

We checked the lyrics, and it says exactly what i believed!
But my buddy still is in believe thats a censored version.

Can somebody please confirm my theory or his.

Chris

Well, they certainly don't look gay... :P

The fact that the full title of the song is infact "I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee)" should give your friend some sort of a hint...

Just as shadows in the dark can sometimes resemble human faces because the human brain is pre-disposed to facial recognition, your friend seems strangely able to turn jibberish into a plea for a man... 💡

Maybe your friend is transposing his subliminal thoughts into the song?

You should be helpful and supportive of him at this crucial turning point in his lifestyle. :D

lol thanks guys...

i knew it that i was correct. I dont think that his changing his lifestyle...when i think about his girlfriend...damn :D

anyways, that was a great help and our discussion is over :)

I always thought it was "Im blue da ba de da ba die

Someone told me the other week they thought it was "im blue, if i was green i would die...

You know that song still gets play in clubs around here.....I was in grade 5 when it came out!

Hahah, good ol' Eiffel 65. I remember waaaaay back in grade 5 or 6 (6 years ago  ) I used to love the Eiffel 65 songs, and whenever their video came on on Video Hits, I used to get a cassette out and record it. After all these years, I came across the album Europop, on which the videos for "Blue" and "Move Your Body" .
I watched the videos, and I thought to myself, 'how could I have possibly liked these?!?!'.

Downright shocking quality videos. But still, I don't mind the music.

I've heard ten thousand versions of what they say after "I'm blue," the most disturbing of which is "I will bleed, I will die."

It's actually as you said, Chris - meaningless gibberish.

Yeah, some how it's one of those songs that sets off my Gaydar even though there arn't any gays around.

Sadly my gaydar is better than my straightdar... :grumpy:

yeah yeah... I'm not gay

yeah that song came out when i was in around 6th grade :D maybe your friend is in the closet. and he was testing you to see how you felt about gay people. :P

It's actually as you said, Chris - meaningless gibberish.
It's my wife's cell phone ring tone for most calls, so I have to hear it a lot. Still catchy-er than I'd like to admit after 7 years, even if it's gibberish.
