Elevation / Altitude Data in GPX not working?

To put it short and simple, I'm making the Circuit of Americas, and through various programs and coding, I've made myself a GPX file with elevation data in it.

But when I import it into the Path Editor, the only thing it imports is the outline of the track.

Anyone know what type of elevation coding is appropriate or if it's working with anyone's at all?


The track just isn't the same without elevation changes... thanks.

You can't alter elevation in the course maker.

No. It's only for tracing the outline of the track at the proper scale anyway.

This might be kind of "unrelated" to the post, but what device are you using to load the gpx file? I've tried it with my phone and I cannot get it to load the files. Also tried kml

I've tried on both an LG GPad and LG G4, and neither KML or GPX files will load. Jpeg files work though.

I'm using Android tablet and gpx/kml files aren't overlaying. Jpeg, yes. I tried mapping out my neighborhood and that track gpx is just blank in the tool. Bummer.

I'm using some online website... As long as both lattitude and longitude are in the KML / GPX file, (You can open them in notepad) They should work. I'm using Andy OS.

Using this website and the "track" function. You can map out any circuits without struggling with scale.

You can add elevation to the GPX / KML file but it won't do anything.
