End Game Movie

By now I'm sure alot of you have seen this, but what about the clips from GT4 shown at the end.

They are stunning! I am a little suspicious coz they look TOO good. The resolution is a lot higher and the anti alaising seems to have improved a whole lot from GT4P.

I hope its real footage, and hasn't been rendered specially.

If that is real game footage running on a PS2 then I am going to be completely blown away!!

Has anyone actually seen GT4 running on a PS2, coz the resolution was very impressive(didn't know my PS2 could do that!)

Gt4p pal isn't up to date like the gt4 build shown at e3. The build at e3 looks like that footage in your demo. The graphics have come a long way now for gt4.

I hope GT4 full does a bit a of that anti aliasing thing, the thing that stops the replays looking like real TV is the sharp jaggies that appear on any hard edge (like the edge of the circuit).

same here, thought it was too good to be true. If GT4 dose look like that on release then I will probably wet myself, but my instinct tells me that as Speed Drifter says they have been renderd specially for the end video. hope hope hope (he says crossing all his fingers and toes)

umm.. hey ppl, its prerendered, a "movie"... like teh no-aliasing hires GT4P intro... geez... of course there will be jaggies in final version of GT4... MAYBE not as much as in GT3/GT4P but i guess it will be exactly the same...

I assume you are talking about the very last scene where the pit crew are doing tyre change on the Ford GT40. That is awesome and I hope it is not rendered but from in-game!

I hope the pit scenes are really like that.

I meant the racing clips and everything, the pit crew looks like actual film!

I'm with Keitaro333, I know its rendered, the res is too high and there is Anti Alaising on each frame. There is still some debate as to what the actual game will look like, some of the pics posted around are from the photomode, search for "photomode" for some serious catfights on the issue of jaggies!

The "Making of" dvd has a GT4 trailer at the end which does have enough jaggies in it to be believable as the real in game footage.
