End of race specifications

What do you guys think about adding some specifications at the end of a race? It would be nice to know what was the top speed during the race that we had reached and stuff like that. The fastest T1, T2...section (time and speed). A race is about time and speed right?:)

Opinion?!?

Certainly wouldn't do any harm to see any of that, that's for sure.

I would like some info on the competition as well, what Hp etc they were running, just to see if they are stock or tuned etc...

I just want game to save record laps to a records data base when you do races. It could be programmed not to count the ones that would violate the rules used for license laps. GT2 had top speed that you did in a race.
But would also like bonus money for record lap, most laps led, pole position, maybe top speed, maybe biggest position change meaning if you go from 12th to first gives bonus money or points etc.

In GT1, there was a screen after the race that showed your total time and all your lap times and even told you if you broke your own records. A screen like that, but also with the times and stats you mentioned, would be welcomed back into GT.

With a system as powerful as the PS3, I'd like to have access to all sorts of data after race finish. Data for all the cars, not just mine, and of every conceivable type. I'd like meaningful telemetry too, to help me tune my car to suit the track.

I know a lot of people like to be pit managers. It would be nice to have the lap no's. that you pitted on shown at end of race. Some of this info could almost be real time, meaning pause game and pull up screen show that stats, like in foot ball games etc. I am sure that most pro race car teams have people that keep track of some of the top drivers that they are racing against, pit stops, lap times etc. Allow us to save race statitics for each race we do if we want to.

Exactly. With the idea of the same records as there were in GT1 and also with the PS3's power there can be more records like the fastest lap and the avg. speed of each lap. I think it would also be a good idea to use during practice if the course is difficult.
