endurance race driver changing

u know how in real le mans style endurance races there are driver changes, for gt5 instead of driver changing it would let u save during a pit stop.then come bac and let u continue from that pit stop. it'd be especially useful for those 24 hour endurance races. that took me hella long to do. give me ur response on this.

Actually just about anyone has already thought of this.

Sounds like you really did those races in A-spec, that's some achievement. I was going to do it, swore I'd never B-spec it, but haven't had the time yet. And that's a shame, because I really want a damn F1 for the fun of it. I've cursed PD a LOT for not having a pit-save option.

Hmmm, I would actually like to to do those combinations on my own... sort of "create your driver" or something... For open top cars it would atleast show, and if we get online it could actually be useful for recognition.

BTW is anyone airing Top Gear in the States? Discovery Channel unceremoniously dropped it a couple months ago 🤬 and last I checked BBC America made no mention of it on their site.

Back on topic, though, the first trailer for GT4, the one with the Gulf-liveried Ford GT making a pit stop, showed a driver change taking place, but that obviously wasn't included in the final product. Realistic driver change sequences and midrace saves during pitstops would be much appreciated for GT5, and customizable helmets and/or suits would be a nice bonus (They are doing it for TT, after all...).

If PD dont let us save during pitstops, at least don't slow the game down from X3 to X1, let is continue at X3 speed. That annoyed me when i had to do endurance races, because i normally let them run overnight.

how about speed being 5X, since it says in the manual that you can, how about PD actually lets it do that?

I dont see whats the point. The endurance is called 24 hours, if you cant make a 24 hours race, then just dont do it.

Problem is, nobody drives for 24 hours, they drive 8, and watch 2 other drivers race the other 16, so to expect/make people drive 24 is quite unrealistic, not to mention it's not nearly as exciting or rewarding as real life - I don't actually get any money from it
