endurance race - gas consumption

Gas consumption is equal right?

Real life

• Turbo i4 @ 400 hp
• NA V8 @ 400hp

Is rate of consumption pretty much equal in real life? I used to have a tuned turbo i4 lancer evo and at the race track i would get about 10 mpg...lol

Im just wondering which one would be heading into the pits more to fill up
