I want a Tune that can make me go fast while still keeping good tire wear.....

Audi R8 (team orica)
Racing Hard
NO!!! Turbo
TCS 1
ABS 1

If your wondering what track to test the tune at....Go to Sarthe...thats my enduro track i like to drive on....

And if u wanna test speed...try to get a 2:39 or better on grand valley
And if u wanna test speed...Try to get a 3:25 or better on Sarthe

Edit: Its not hard to drive at all....but im not the best tuner...and when i do mess with the things to reduce pit stops. aka....camper/toe...it becoems a little bit harder to drive...

i know i can use dampers and ect to make up for it...but idk how to do that

Lap times with audi R8 on sarthe are like 3:33 but i want at least 3:25

I'm guessing tuning for speed while keeping tyre wear low is not going to be easy. I'm not a tuner myself but I know that tyre wear can be regulated by your driving to make sure the tyres last longer.

The car is already pretty fast in good hand so I think a light tune might be enough for it. Have you tried a tune yourself or are you having problems with the tune you have?

dont have problem driving the car...although sometimes the back end likes to randomly slip...i just need better tire wear b/c i hate to pit every 5 laps at sarthe and i cant stand to see other drivers last like 9 laps.....

iso way to get better lap times ( driving default set up with lowered ride height ) and get better tire were than 5 laps

it just might be the way you drive it. If your having problems just coming out of turns, maybe raising the intial torque setting could help, or depending on when it starts to let go, the acce setting on the LSD

Wouldnt raising the initial torque increase my chance of going sideways....

i mean when it does wanna slip...my TCS setting of 1 cant help...b/c its a 3rd gear thing..idk y...but its only 3rd gear....

So mabey its something with gearbox..like too much torque in that gear or something.. Any ideas?

if its in 3rd yea the intial torque really wont help out, but raising it wouldnt increase your chances of going sideways eather. The acceleration setting on the lsd could help out but might mess up the over all handling of the car. And it just might be a gear box problem.

it does the same thing on my minolta...both minolta and r8 have a 3rd gear problem...that when u listen to it...it sounds like the tires wanna spin..but no burnt rubber shows up on track......

And my Initial torque stuff or whatever...

-initial torque = 5
-sensitivity = 5 edit: minoltas sensitivity here is 7...but still doesnt hlp if put on 5...
-brake = 20 i think

Hlp on fixing the 3rd gear prob plz...has default gearbox

Yea I think I remeber having that problem on my minolta, I do not remeber what I did to compensate for it. I might of acually softened up the rear end a little bit. I would look it up and spend some time on the cars, but I'm in the middle of my 3rd atempt of the 24 of la mans.
You could try and raising the value of the acceleration setting on the LSD, but I really think that the rear suspension should be softened up.
