Is it just me or do cars sound pretty much identical in S2? I have a Giulietta QV and an Infiniti G35 and to me they sound 100% identical. When I play GT5 and Forza 3, I can tell that each car has a distinctive engine note. I don't get the same feeling here....

Can't tell however in gt5 you can just tell the difference between vaccum cleaner not engines.

Yeah i agree i can tell the difference with GT5 as Dyson's, Vax and Electrolux have very distinct sounds 👍

In a racing game Ill take one car sound over various diferent electrical appliances sounds any time of the day.
But no they dont sound the same (maybe those two sound similar but not the rest...)

So far, I haven't noticed two different cars sounding alike. I haven't heard all of them, of course... But if there's anything I won't complain about in S2U, it's the sound...

Some cars that have similar engines are going to have similar engine sounds. But overall the variety of sounds is good. I'm really not too impressed with the engine sounds in any racing games. That's one area that all developers could really improve upon.

Could be because the distorted engine sounds that all seem similar, more like race cars than how should sound in stock form.

My wife usually doesn't complain when I'm racing, but when I was racing with the Huayra she kindly asked me to turn down the volume a little bit :)

i like S2U sounds except for some of the muscle cars I prefer GT5 for most of those but i think all around S2U sounds are much better than GT5s

I dunno. I mean, there should be a noticeable difference between a Giulietta and a G35 but to me it just doesn't sound like there is.

I had to rely on YouTube for this, as I still didn't get around to actually downloading the limited edition content, but from the videos, it's pretty easy to tell the Giulietta and the G35 apart from each other - the G35 sound a lot more grunt-y, the engine sound is deeper overall and more raspy...
