I think there should be a downloadable patch for engine swaps. Nothing outrageous but swaps such as RB into s13 or 2JZ into AE86.

There was talks about this feature in the game during development. It can still be added later in a patch but I don't think it is not one of PDs primary concerns.

2JZ in an AE86? Much rather put a 20B with a turbo!

GT5 should have paid more attention to Forza which has much more customizability like rim size, tire pressure, decals, more tracks, more races, engine swaps, and much more. I'm pretty disappointed with GT5's fun factor, graphics with only 200 premium cars and the rest look like PS2. PD fail! I still enjoy the game very much still just wish they had more to it.

I agree with engine swaps ...its changes car 100% along with power to weight ratios ...i think the rim an paint detail on the standerd cars is cheap considering i have been waitin for this game for years ...hope the patches come soon !!!

Should definitely hav engine swaps!

AE86 with rotarys, SR20s or even just 20v engines

MX-5s with rotarys or LS-1s

E30 M3s (should have one of these too in the game) with E46 M3 CSL, E39 M5 or E60 M5 engines

Silivas with RB or 1/2JZs

Use of NASCAR engines in some cars.

Should also be able to visible see a super-charger on the old muscle cars like a roots sticking out the bonnet.

Engine swaps would be easy to do too as all would need to be changed is noise, power and balance of the car alittle bit if they wanted it to be realistic.

The tuning in GT5 is pretty poor though even compared to GT4 which had more options for settings etc.

We have a thread that discusses this right here, and as this is the Tuning sub-forum, I don't really think it's necessary in here.
