Has anyone found that the order that they upgrade the engine makes a difference in power out come? For example: put in a chip, then do a pot-n-polish as opposed to doing the port-n-polis then add the chip.....
I think it does but I haven't taken the time ($$$) to find out.... Have any of U?

Well, I have not specifically tested it in GT4. However, in GT3 it definitely did not affect the cost or total horsepower. Upgrades were upgrades no matter what order you did them in. There is some kind of internal database that keeps track of what every combination of parts does.

come on, thats a bit in depth, though a valid question nonetheless. i ahve thought of this b4, but never wanted to try it out based on my conclusion that PD didnt have enough time and memory to put in things like that, this aint pemdas so order doesnt matter
