Race Details:
Mode: Arcade: Time trial
Game Spec: Spec III
Physics: Professional
Track: Daytona Road Course
Car: Nissan Skyline Coupe 370GT ​

Rules:
* Lap must be clean, No wall touches, 2 wheels on track at all times.(concrete area's and all hard underground is considered part of the track)
* G25 clutch is Prohibited
* Driving aids are optional
* Standard OLR rules​

Save your best lap replay, everyone will need to submit there replay at the end of each round for verification.(replays will need to be posted (as soon as possible) within 48 hours after deadline, replays are to be posted in this thread.)​

Standard Clean OLR:
* 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
* rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
* no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
* if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
* no cheating of any kind, nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules.
(This includes conduct in the discussion thread. Administrators of this series reserve
the right to suspend or expel racers from this race or series if these guidelines are
breached - think before you post)
* save your best lap/ghost replay​

Submitting:
* Submit to ripping_silk through GTPlanet private message.
* You need to include your lap time and your psn username.
* You can only submit your time once.
* The Deadline is 23:59(GMT) 29th of May
* Replay deadline is 23:59(GMT) 31st of May
* Replay is to be posted in the thread. format example: ripping_silk-1.47.665.zip
* Next race starts on the 30th of May
* if you are unsure of the deadline try this site​

Time Verification:
* Save your ghost replay.
* All Racers will be required to post their replay in this thread, before 48 hours

* failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results.

Nice young fella.......... i was sitting P7 with a time i set waaaay back in November last year, so i had to wipe that clean.

A short 15min session for P4 at the moment.... whether i have the will or desire to go and improve on that is debatable, as there are a few Johnnie Walker Black Label and Cokes calling me before the F1 quali comes on tonight

I'm such a lazy bugger with my overall efforts in general...... must be my short attention span

OT:strange car this nissan,doesnt give much feedback of what its wheels are doing...gearbox is also strangely ratio-ed....

2'02.695 first session, probably 0.3 to come as i lost 0.2 in T1, very easy car i think.

EDIT:2'02.610, still alot left, worse T1 and worse T2 but still a improvement. Button will win the championship unless there is a dramatic turn around, amazing speed, composure and a great reliable car.
Plus he is on pole at monaco of all places.

Having a good car like the Brawn gp helps but the reason why this team is there and why Button is really good, his wingman ( Barrichelo ) probably the best and most experience driver in F1 right now that knows how to tune a car for a race. This guy is like a gold for any team.

hmmm i thinks its mostly ross brawns work [he help schumacher to his world titles], Barricello has the same car but is slower alot of the time same as he was at ferrari with schumacher, he is a great driver but i think vettel, hamilton, and button are better plus others, its all about the car it makes a huge difference, i think there are 8-9 capable of winning the championship with the right car, most exciting time for F1 i think with all the great drivers. I mean look at Alonso, two time world champion struggles to get top 5 all because his car is not that competitive.

But yeah it helps that Rubens and Jenson get on well, boosts morale for a start.

Yes, 1st stint, pretty dodgy T1-T2 but was happy with the exit to the bus stop section, I reckon a .8/.9 is possible

.852, great last sector, but poorish 1st sector, seen a few .9s at T1, might just wait and see if anyone gets close before i'll attempt a 3rd session, to be honest, this combo sucks because u cant restart easily, u have to play out the lap if u stuff up the first combo, 2 minutes of sheer boredome!! the worst combo of the series by a mile, this car is absolutely disgusting

Yeah I dont mind daytona, but with this car its not so enjoyable, and i wouldnt call this an easy car to drive at all, it oversteers pretty easily, half the cars in the game i reckon would be easier to drive than this car

Irrespective of the trials and tribulations of the lap and circuit... that is one hell of a lap Dan..... i can't see anyone coming close to that mate.

Just had my first run, and firstly i'd like to say. Dan, WHAT A LAP!!. No chance of me getting close to that. I'm 2nd in the rankings, but with that sort of pace mate, no way you can lose the championship.

This car has put me off, what a heap!

Its so slow, most of the lap you just watch the needle creep slowly toward the redline.

I had a top 10 lap today but then my Ps3 signed itself out of PSN.

Amazing lap by Dan, i can see a mid 2 but 1.8?! crazy...

Your lap is still in the rankings, it's just outside the top 10. It doesn't have the NZ flag next to your name so i'm assuming it updated still.
