Race Details

Mode: Arcade:Time Trial
Game Spec: Spec III
Physics: Professional
Track: Fuji Speedway GT
Car: Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
Rules

* Lap must be clean, No wall touches, 2 wheels on track at all times.(run off
area's are not considered part of the track)
* G25 clutch is Prohibited
* Driving aids are optional
* Standard OLR rules

Save your best lap replay, everyone will need to submit there replay at the end
of each round for verification.(replays will need to be posted (as soon as possible)
within 48 hours after deadline, replays are to be posted in this thread.)

Standard Clean OLR rules

* 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
* rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
* no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
* if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
* no cheating of any kind, nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules.
(This includes conduct in the discussion thread. Administrators of this series reserve
the right to suspend or expel racers from this race or series if these guidelines are
breached - think before you post)
* save your best lap/ghost replay

Submitting

* Submit to ripping_silk through GTPlanet private message.
* You need to include your lap time and your psn username.
* You can only submit your time once.
* The Deadline is 23:59(GMT) 23rd of April
* Replay deadline is 23:59(GMT) 25th of April
* Replay is to be posted in the thread. format example: ripping_silk-1.47.665.zip
* Next race starts on the 24th of April
* if you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Time Verification

* Save your ghost replay.
* All Racers will be required to post their replay in this thread, before 48 hours
after race finish time.
* failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results.

Tried 2 dozen laps or so and managed to just scrape in a .940 lap time, its an entertaining combo with its rear problems! But once you get to grips with it its a pleasure to drive.

The technical section 3 is where it separates genius and ordinary ppl (like me).

This car is waaaay over powered and is a real handful - but i love it!

Managed a few dead 38's then a 37.991

Watched Dans replay (reccomended) and punched out a 37.4XX

I got up to 3rd in the rankings. Actually surprised myself a bit. I had no pace then just found a bunch.

I use bumper cam CWR.

Sure everyone will top that though as I've not played any race game for 3-4 months so I'm a bit rusty. I tried a couple of laps last week in the Lotus which is a cool combo.

Considering he's only put in an hour...... i reckon he'll squeeze a bit more out of it to humiliate us further

because when i enter in a competition... i enter in the beginning (ive tried here but there were some issues so i step it out)... and, in fact, that was a good decision because i couldnt give my best effort on this due my studies that started a few weeks after the 1st round... i'd rather stay out then

chronos go for it... Dan is 1 of the best GT players in the world (did i really needed to said that!? ) so if you beat him... what else could you want!?

if Dan is able to reach that times (not using clutch) ill give it another go... but im a bit skeptical about that

OK MAY, I thought with your message that you wanted to do a comp each week for fun like before. You can run it outside the forum and I'll check the combos and have a go myself, lets not make a big deal over it.👍

I know from the IFTC I've no chance to beat Dan lol and will struggle to keep close to mad94d, Tizzla etc and I don't play the game anymore to practice and run hardcore like you guys have done over the last few months.

In the IFTC I did two races(the last two) and came 6th in both. I was very surprised and elated at the same time. I wish I started it sooner. It's great too have so many Div 1 Gold guys running this event, it puts down the benchmark for all the others trying to "Enhance Their SkillS". They are able to watch how the masters(Div 1 Gold) do it through replays and ghost replays.

I'll be having another go of this tomorrow and probably should have another go of WRS.
