Race Details

Mode: Arcade:Time Trial
Game Spec: Spec III
Physics: Professional
Track: Eiger Nordwand Forward
Car: Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nur '02

Rules

* Lap must be clean, No wall touches, 2 wheels on track at all times.(run off
area's are not considered part of the track)
* G25 clutch is Prohibited
* Driving aids are optional
* Standard OLR rules

Save your best lap replay, everyone will need to submit there replay at the end
of each round for verification.(replays will need to be posted (as soon as possible)
within 48 hours after deadline, replays are to be posted in this thread.)

Standard Clean OLR rules

* 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
* rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
* no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
* if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
* no cheating of any kind, nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules.
(This includes conduct in the discussion thread. Administrators of this series reserve
the right to suspend or expel racers from this race or series if these guidelines are
breached - think before you post)
* save your best lap/ghost replay

Submitting

* Submit to ripping_silk through GTPlanet private message.
* You need to include your lap time and your psn username.
* You can only submit your time once.
* The Deadline is 23:59(GMT) 26th of March
* Replay deadline is 23:59(GMT) 28th of March
* Replay is to be posted in the thread. format example: ripping_silk-1.47.665.zip
* Next race starts on the 27th of March
* if you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Time Verification

* Save your ghost replay.
* All Racers will be required to post their replay in this thread, before 48 hours
after race finish time.
* failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results.
* If you unsure of how to submit a replay, see this page.

Did I have to sign up before hand for this event? Or can I just join this run as well?? I need to refresh my GT experience... Im getting bored with it and not many people online anymore... :indiff:

i never fool around buddy...:lol:

did several laps and whas even in front of Dan...only to loose a bit in the last section,sure Dan will improve further ...there are some corners left to improve on...👍

my first time out managed a 1:14:158 :) time to load a ghost replay and give chase. will improve further. nice combo 👍

now down to a 1:13:611 👍

Great combo...it's a nice change from the typical road course TT's we've been doing 👍 I find that I need to have a really fine touch with the 6-axis in the first sector to even think about putting in a 1.12.xxx though (my best so far 1.12.898). I end up scrubbing a terrible amount of speed if I use too much joystick angle when exiting the corners, so it's much more challenging than I originally expected.

Anyways, my wheel can't get here soon enough...I'm tired of being handicapped by this damn pos controller :ouch: Sorry for the rant that you've probably heard a million times before :lol:

Great time bro...very solid for a 6-axis user 👍 I probably won't have a chance to have a second go until Sunday or so. Hopefully I can knock a few more tenths off once I get some more seat time. Keep at it! :cheers:

Baahhh...I'm sure you'll improve dramatically given some more seat time 👍 You always manage to post an impressive lap by the time the TT closes...I'm sure this one will be no different. :crazy: You're not fooling me haha :sly:
 
Thanks for the vote of confidence but i cant see me geting within 0.8 of the winning time, out of the 12 tracks this is the track i would of had the fewest laps at so i guess this comp will help abit. I love reverse and have had a fair bit of time there on pro physics buts i dont think i have ever tryed here on pro[maybe once].
 
I was just wondering... I am not on the GTP registry yet. I submitted my qualifier to Sphinx about a week ago. I know he is very busy, so it may be awhile yet before I hear back from him. Is it okay if I participate in this competition, or do I need to be on the registry first? I would really love to be able to do something like this. I probably won't finish in the points, but it would be something fun to do. Online is not quite what I was hoping it would be :guilty:

I know it will be better/more exciting if I can get on the registry and start racing in the GTP events. Until then, events like this would sure help pass the time and hone my skills. I am going to go ahead and start practicing just in case. I know the intro says that this is open to all racers, I just wanted to make sure I was good to give it a go even though I'm not officially on the registry.

here's one for you...I can go faster with a S2 S1 setup then with a S2 S2 setup. The only reason why it doesn't appear that way on the ranking is because I keep screwing the last corner - (down to me, not the car)

Never really driven with any tires apart from the normal tires[s2 i think], thats given me an idea i might try drifting but ill doubt ill be any good.

well after 3 sessions at this fairly straight forward fun combo, managed 1'12.053, could have been a .9xx lap time as my first 2 splits were ground shatteringly fast but I couldn't hold it together towards the end, braking for the last corner I over shot and almost went off, loosing mid corner speed. Time submitted, nice time spyrarri;) beating the eiger nordwand specialist ANI from japan is a great effort;)

every time i want to do a session something comes up and another day has passed....aaahhh family life eh??....lol.
