Good Luck Everyone

Great combo Mad. I was never a fan of London FWD or Reverse, but gave it an extended run early in the new year and found it suited me.... Reverse more so.

Probably a bit more in the time i set, ran an even dozen laps but it may have to do given the lack of time i have currently. I'm happy it's a clean lap also....... they can be quite hard to do around London.

I like London reverse too. A bit tricky this combo. This car is a pocket rocket.

:scared:

*hates FWD cars*

*hates London*

*sighs*

well at least this one has more than 2 corners.

*waits for Dan to post time so he can follow his ghost*

Haha:sly:

Well after a quick half an hour session I pulled off quite a good lap time, a 57.666 to be precise, to prevent any DQ issues, deciding to submit this lap time now:tup:

ONE HALF HOUR SESSION? I am SO jealous. I'm gonna spend prob 4 hours on this thing and not come anywhere near your time. At least it is London Reverse which I am fairly familiar with thanks to WRS - will start my quest tonight. Good Luck to all!!!

You are truly fast. I might have to go to racing school to be as good as you. :)

.666....devily fast time Dan...:scared:...lol

spyrrari.

Up to 2nd in rankings with a 57.805. A bit more left but not much, not enough to knock Dan off.

Well, I gave this another go tonight and got to 7th, can still see plently more though, just have to put it all in one lap.

Well, I gave this another go tonight and got to 7th, can still see plently more though, just have to put it all in one lap.

Some very impressive times being laid down at this round, I'm getting left WAY behind !

I think i may have a half chance of beating dan's lap, faster T1 and if it werent for a bad last corner i would of had a .7xx lap.

I have a question, how does dan and mad get the car to turn like that in the fast section? Is it hitting the bumps a certain way to get it to turn. The way it looks, they are turning in late, then the bump is jumping them..I dunno, that is where I loose all my time.

You mean the S bend? I turn in very early for that corner. I quite often stuff it up though.

If you mean the corner before that, A late turn in is required to get good speed. And by the way I find wheelspin doesn't cost you any time.

After turn 6. Turn 7 -8..I loose so much speed when I turn in.

Full throttle, go from far over right as possible to far left as possible[turn 7] then back as close as possible on the right through turn 8 and then back left, letting the car drift wide carrying as much speed as possible.

The best way around that section.

yea that corner is easy, you just have to turn in really early and use the kerb.

I had trouble with turn 10, i can follow mads time all the way until the last corner.

Will have another go later in the week.

Easy? Right. If it was easy I would have a '57.6 like Dan. lol.. I am starting to catch on though..I improved slightly. Thanks for the tips.

Boy__racer.. My God your Sector one is flawless..If I would just nail 7-8 and The final tight turn, boy you would have 57.5 :)

:crazy:Tried some laps with the sixaxis yesterday...

its been too long for me since i did race with a controller...way too long...:ill:
deep respect for the guys who comw so close to the wheel users with it...unreal!!!

spyrrari.

I'm going to have another go tonight and see if I can improve. I can match Dan's Split 1 and Split 3 but I lose too much time in Split 2. I've seen splits that tell me I can go faster, but it's going to be difficult for me to get that little bit of extra speed.

I cannot nail turn 1/2 with any consistency. I could be .3 off lead if I could get turn 1/2 :(

spyrrari - no word on wheel yet ?? that sucks.
