Just thought of sharing a video, this is a soundset I made. Though unfortunately, since formatting my PC, I don't have it now :banghead::ouch::dunce:

Would like your opnions on it! :)

Someone who mods his GTA:SA, sweet. To be honest though, I'm not using sound mods anymore since they glitched up my game, although it's just a few of them, not the entire set of mods I installed.

Yes, some sound mods can cause troubles in-game. I still haven't been able to figure out why :boggled:

It's actually on the bitrate - there are sound mods where their compatibility is questionable. I forgot everything though but sound mods above a certain bitrate needed will bring unpredictable results, like weird footsteps sounds and all those glitches. Seems weird when the author forgot to optimize it for the game.

If you badly want the sound mod, then optimize it (again if the author already did) with Audacity or any other sound editor. I think the bitrate is 44100. Lemme check.

EDIT: And take note of these. Once you opened up the sound files in Audacity, you should export the .wav in any of the following formats:

* mono 16-bit PCM WAV (preferred as no internal conversion is necessary)
* mono 8-bit PCM WAV
* mono 4-bit MS ADPCM WAV
* mono 4-bit IMA ADPCM WAV
* mono 16-bit PCM AIFF
* mono 8-bit PCM AIFF
* mono 16-bit PCM AU
* mono 8-bit ULAW AU

To make sure, just re-convert the file as I've said earlier into any of those formats.
