can i see this NSX to F50 conversion?

It's really old, a one-off like this one. I know it's on these boards. Search "F50 conversion" or "NSX to F50" or something like that. I'm sure you'll find it.

[EDIT]
Here you go. I couldn't turn up the thread but heres the website. scroll down to watch the transformation. Some of the picks are missing.

NSX to F50 conversion

Worst of all the NSX looked sweet before the conversion. Now it's just an F50 with half the engine.

I dislike the concept, but can't help respect the quality of the work. The truck is ugly, but the conversion is really clean. Someone put a lot of work and love into both of those. Not what I would do with my time, but I can totally respect it.

The Ferrari truck looks really stupid today. In the 80's, however, would have won many lowrider truck trophies. Yes, 80's rocks!

On the NSX to F50 conversion........... I don't know what to say. It certainly was a waste of an classic like NSX. It was kind of neat, how they did though. Impressive craftsmanship. :)

Why? Waste of time, would be better of making a proper kit car, buying another car or just leaving the damn things alone.

But both of those have atleast been done with some class, I've seen some pics of a late 80s Toyota Supra with ferrari badges etc... stuck on. Sad.

You people are whiners. It's someone else's car, who cares what someone else does to it. Besides that they did this because it's their hobby, they try to see whatever they can do with their engineering skills.

I'll agree that it looks crappy, but it's quite a funny idea and he did a good job at it for as much as you can make a pickup truck look like a ferrari.

big deal, you yutzes. American's do this all the TIME! besides, ferarri allready HAS a factory built truck, I believe.

custom trucks are Normal in the US. what are you griping about?

I wouldn't drive it, but it's a bit of fun. Why not? And for the people who said they 'despise people who turn cars into other cars', in what way was this guy turning his truck into another car? It don't remember any Ferrari ever looking like that. Lighten up! It's a heck of a lot more creative and individual than a lot of 'aesthetically' modified family hatches that are out there!

It also reminds me of a little K-car Testarossa 'look-a-like' van that was in Option magazine a few years back. Unfortunately, I can't find a picture though.

I don't have a problem with this one. It's totally obvious that no one would ever confuse an old Toyota truck with a Ferrari. I see this as more of a well-crafted joke or toy, and I approve.

Conversions like the various Lambo fakes, the NSX/F50 fake, and the old Corvette-to-Daytona 'conversion', however, are totally teh suck. The people who do that are trying to get away with it and they actually hope you'll think they drive a real exotic. That's not a joke; that's a lie, and those people blow.

Yeah, I see your point about the truck. It is kind of a different animal. I suppose I'd have to agree with you on that one. Although I still can't stand to see ferrari badges on that thing. (I'm not even a big fan of ferrari's)

By the way, It slices, It dices, It administrates. 👍
