With todays first Beta races for the European users (despite the fact that the Servers sucked several times), how many races you were able to join?

Only one race unfortunately, at Blue Moon Bay. Missed the first two races because I was watching F1 qualifying but seems like I didn't miss much after all. :P Was a nice race and got 1st. It was a bit too easy though, 11 sec lead.

I find it odd that despite having an awful internet and around 200 ping thanks to me living far in the middle east, i still had far smoother experience playing against people from North & South America than what you Europeans reported.

It's not really about internet connection. It's server availability and traffic. You being in the Middle East might actually be an advantage.

Game kept telling me I wasn't connected to the internet. Then I kept getting the No Daily Races Available box. Then none of the races were showing up. When they finally did the timers said that the next race was in 22 hours in all 3 classes. Then it changed to race in 15 minutes, raced on Blue Moon Bay & it was the dullest arcade feeling onine race I've ever had, hated it. Then the race timer changed on Dragon Tail & I qualified on pole, but got disconnected. Then I managed to get in another Dragon Tail race, qualified on pole & won.

The opponent cars are not looking good, lots of lag & cars moving about unnaturally. My first impressions is that it's the worst online racing experience in any GT game to date. They need to put a shed load of work in to even get near the standards of GT5 Prologue, GT5, & GT6. But then again this is just a beta, not the finished game.

I had the same experience as VBR.

Race 1 - Qualified first - Then Network error.
Race 2 - Qualified first - Then Network error.
Race 3 - Brands Hatch - Qualified first - Terrible lag and was shunted off track a couple of times ended up 2nd.
Race 4 - Network error.
Race 5 - Blue Moon Bay - Qulified first - Terrible lag and with 3-4 laps left i was second and the car suddenly went crazy
it was living on it´s own and I couldn´t even leave the track. I was "disqualified for ignoring penalties" LOL

After that race it was impossible to connect to internet so I decided to quit.

But after little more than an hour I thought I might look at it again;) and voila I was able to join 2 races at Brands Hatch
21.20 and 21.40 Swedish time.
Race 6 - Brands Hatch - Qualified first and won the race - it was a little lag but much better than the earlier (race 3)at BH.
Race 7 - Brands Hatch - Qualified first and won the race - it was a little lag but much better than the earlier (race 3)at BH.

So all in all i´m happy but it was very frustrating with the "A connection to the server could not be established (0xFFFFFBFF)"

I´m looking forward to tomorrows races
