Europe Classic Car League - Car Choice

(did a search only found the worst car that could win the first 2 or 3 races, not looking for that, im looking to spank the competitiors and still come out with a good car in the end. id also like for it to be on duck's tuning list because i found his specs to be comparable to mine)

one of the main things i want to know is what the other racers are driving, or at least what kind of cars. are they all driving super paganis or are they in alfa romeo's?

i dont want to spend about 600k on a pagani to be going up against alfas and that would be a huge race of money. id prefer to run a romeo v romeo and just have mine at a better level or performance. ya know what i mean?

ok, how about a good car for Schwarzwald Liga B?

now for the Europe Classic Car League.
whats the absolute best car to use for the ultimate in pwnage.

ok i narrowed down my choices to the alfa romeo gt 3.2 v6 24v and the pagani c12s
the benefit of the pagani is that i can also use it to win the premium sports league in the extreme hall, its that race and the formula gt i have left and i dont have a chance in hell to win the formula gt even with my fgt, not even my fgt can run it because of my settings it can do great on corners but dies on the straight.
but with the alfa i spend much less.

The Cizeta is won at the Supercar Festival in Professional Hall. Unfortunately it is a terrible car, and ugly, too. The Pagani will give you a race that's more upon the level of a time trial, as you will win every race as long as the car is in motion. The competition is Alphas and Lancia daily drivers, so go with something like that, and tune it slightly.

well i sold the cizeta whenever i got it, ass ugly.
i ended up going with the pagani in hopes of being able to use it on the premium sports lounge race series in the extreme hall but i ended up using a mix of a ford t and a TVR. so i wasted money, not only that but after tuning i found it crazy hard to handle, almost too much power and had to drive my caterham to feel better about my driving skill.
now i only have that formula championship in the extreme hall to do as well as the mazda roadster one in the endurance hall
ug, then i have to get my internaitonal licenses and do the driving missions as well as special condition halls, oh not to mention most of the manufacturer races.
at least i have 10mil handy. and i can get plenty of merc amg gtrs to selll.

turns out you can use the vw nardo concept even though it has nearly 900hp.
so im gonna use that.
but im going to continue to use this thread for all my car choice needs over the next couple of hours.

I took the series in a Cizetta, and it wasn't much fun. It's one of the wierdest cars to drive, because you win by not trying to go fast. If you try to go fast, you'll die. But if you just sort of get around the track with no intention of speed, somehow, amazingly, you win. A very wierd car indeed.

In fact, most Italian cars are wierd.

Now, if I had to do the series again, I'd use that Alfa that's oddly allowed to compete in the Meisterschaft series. Which I believe is the prize car in the Fiesta Italiano..?

3-Wheel Drive
How can racing a Nardo against Lupos and 1-Series Beamers be anywhere close to being fun?

i enjoy it right now.
once i get to the point in the game where im bored with just winning ill prolly see the minimum i can use

Given your current pattern, you could save time by not even inquiring for cars, and just look at the race's requirements and pick the fastest possible car allowed. You may regret it, though.
I'm currently at 12% of a new game beacuse I was unhappy with my 65% progress of my last game. Too many races that resulted in intentional/unintentional overkill, too little challenge. God knows how many hundreds of thousands of dollars (probably over a million) I blew on cars/parts that I didn't actually need. And yes, I know money is easy in GT4, and I could make up the losses in an hour or less, it was the principle of it that made me start fresh. I've already got half my old A-Spec credits, and I do not regret a single race.

well my plan is to do as much as i can this way then go through and a spec it all, use basic cars, then the most basic possible cars etc.

Just buy a car that meets the race specs and try it.
As a general tip most races can be won in a car with slight mods.
The hard ones that require full mods are the Speedster cup and the 206 cup, for that buy the 206 rally car.
If not sure you can preview the race and see what turns up.
How much fun can it be asking for the best car for each race?
Looks like you know how to get easy cash.
Try working it out for yourself first, and then if you get stuck, come and ask for help.
Also changing the thread title every 10 minutes is a tade confusing, but I suppose it is better than making a new thread every 10 minutes.

i figured a reuse of the thread while i finish off most of the main events wouldnt hurt.
well i narrowed my choices down to the jag e type with a kg/hp of 4.6
the only one i found that can beat it is the ac 427 with 2.7, much more power but the jag is free (prize car) the ac is 423,200 so im gonna go with the jag haha

The AC is not allways in the field.
Restart to find a field without the AC Cobra and a cheaper car can win.

well it was in the field, just one.
i beat it with ease. first i had bob do it then turns out i was lapping it so i threw it into a spec and finished.

For 1,000 miles I used a Jaguar E Type.
For Europe Classic Car Leauge I used a Ginetta G4

Its funny because the car you win once you have completed the 1,000 miles.

Put a full racing tranny in a Corvette C1, make sure the Jaguar E-Type and AC Superblower aren't in the race, and have at it. Hella fun.
