This series will be focused on convenient times for players wanting to get into a racing series that are planned in the Eastern Standard Time zone. Schedule:

The season will start once we get a decently-sized grid and I can host that specified week. The races will be on either Wednesdays or Thursdays. As for tracks, the winner of each race gets to pick the track for the next week once they get my approval. I will not allow a few tracks, but they are not suitable for this type of racing series. This option is still in development and may or may not be used.

First Track: Suzuka Circuit.

Race Day Schedule:

7:00 - Lobby opens
7:25 - All cars off of the track. The rules will be set up and GT cars will enter the track.
7:30 - An 8 minute GT qualifying session begins. Times will be monitored by Drum.
7:38 - All GT cars leave the track, rules are changed to let LMP cars on the track.
7:40 - The rules are changed. An 8 minute LMP qualifying session begins. Times will be monitored by Drum. I will start at the back of the grid unless another steward can honestly keep times, then I will qualify.
7:48 - The track is cleared. All cars are allowed to go on the track for a last minute practice session, but it is optional. However, all cars using this option are required to start at the back of the grid for their class.
7:55 - The track is closed and final race preparations are made.
7:56 - The rules allow GT cars only on the track.
7:58 - After all GT cars have entered the track, the rules allow LMP cars on the track.
8:00 - The race is started and all cars will assume their qualifying position. The cars will then undergo a formation/parade lap. Speed limit: 100mph, at least 3 car lengths in between cars. No passing. If a car spins out, goes off the course in any way, or causes any type of incident, they must start at the back of the pack. No exceptions. Once the lead car has turned onto the finish straight, the field is able to go full power. No passing is allowed until you have crossed the finish line.
~9:00 - The race ends, and sometimes a post-race discussion/hang out will ensue.

Race:
The race will last about an hour. Every car is required to make at least one pit stop throughout the race. No exceptions. All drivers are expected to read and abide by the GTP Racing Rules and Regulations. If a driver seems to be driving recklessly in any way or seems to have made a dirty action, PM me on this forum PRIVATELY. Complaining on the thread may get you suspended from one or more races with no points.
