Events & Classes

If it were up to me, I'd create LOADS of events by splitting the game's cars in as many different ways I could think of. I'd split them in terms of type, nationality, hemisphere, age, engines, and then when I'd got loads of different event, I'd bunch some of them to make even more (eg. Europe vs. Japan, Germany vs. Italy or V8's 10's and 12's) THEN I'd divide many of them again by having different classes (eg. You could enter the the Europe v Japan road car cup in one of three different classes, based on Power/wieght ratio and tyres allowed.) Then with the PS3's mega powah, you can have two or three classes in the same race, just like leMans!

Coding of events can't be all that involved. I'd hope that Kazunori-sama will load up GT5 with as much of that as possible. Good dinkum. 👍

This is the easy part of the project.

Using matricial combination you can assembly LOTS and LOTS of different events based on car properties.

I like very very much this idea.
