Hi guys,

I'm really baffled by the speed of Evo 10 in the game. For some reason it really feels slow for me. I tested the Evo 10 and Evo 8 in Fuji and the results are:

Evo 8: 2:00.xxx
Evo 10: 2:02.xxx

Is the Evo 10 THAT slow that it lost around 2 secs from the Evo 8? It just suck cuz I'm a huge fan of the Evo 10 and now it seems I'm starting to dislike it :|

check out the nurburgring lap times thread. its got a collection of lap times from various good drivers. its usually a good way to compare vehicles on the toughest track there is.

the x is about 14sec faster than the viii

Evo 8 is in the game? I only have Evo IX and Evo X, both premium.

Nordschleife Lap Times done by me :

8:04.412 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR '05
7:59.648 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR '07

Evo X is faster than Evo IX and I doubt that Evo 8 can go under 8 minutes on the ring...

I would have to say I think the Evo 8 is much better on the track, probably not as good in the real world ass a daily driver, but I think the Evo 8 is a much more suitable Track Car due to its (IMO) Sportier Stance and lighter weight

Well try it. I know back then in (2004?) it was chosen as the best car of the year by the international auto industry what ever, because of it's handling characteristics.

Evo X on the ring...just has some insane grip level and stability. Based on a GT-R maybe? :P

Totally agree on that, it blew me away this thing, when I tried it for the first time.

You tested a stock Evo X? It also feels sluggish on the straights. In the last main straight at the 'ring I can only manage 230kph! I clocked in 8:20.xxx! On the Evo XIII I clocked 8:13.xxx.

the evo X is very heavy and sluggish in real life too. the evo VIII and IX are much quicker and agile but dont feel as good of quality

Those are stock cars, done for a Nordschleife laptime topic. Andy is damn quick.
Done 8.01 myself with a stock Evo X. :P

Thanks man xD Anyway yes, the car tends to go right and letf in straight line using a wheel, I shoould try if with a controller it behave the same way. Anyway I felt the Evo X a lot faster compared to the other Evo, but I still have to try the Evo VI ;)

IRL the Evo 9 is slightly faster than the Evo X, tested by Best Motoring at Tsukuba, i'm sure the evo 8 is very similar.

The Evo IX cant be right. I've driven the Evo VI GSR '99 (standard) around the 'ring at about 8:01. I remember it was very similar to a Subaru Impreza of the same year.
