Hi, i have tried all the new events today and found Fuji much more to my liking :) Daytona is Great but i find that there is a lot more of a choice of car to race at Fuji 550? it is not about all out speed but handling as well 👍 so what do you guys think?

the car that at least for me seems the quickest is the GTR and F430. Both tunes capable of doing 1.54s but mine GTR I can go even quicker with 1.53s and 1.52.867. It's tricky but patience is key on this track...specially braking on N3s...lol Drifting Heaven! :P

After testing this combination with several cars, my opinion is that N-3 tyres are not best choice.

I feel it's littlebit unrealistic that many cars you need to lighten almost so much than possible and after that raise power, to reach 550PP. When those cars are like LM-models, and added many HP's, driving with Normal tyres aint fun/realistic anymore.

I did much better, (not faster) laps with 500PP, and I'm just wondering why they did not set this event to that?

Here could be fun events if everybody would set their PP's to 500. I see this event will be almost empty, so getting to same grid would be easy...

I had a lot of fun on N3s last night and I think Fuji will be my choice too. I was supriesed that the amount of punting was low. Its probably an effect of the N3s?

I have now tested very many cars here, and almost every of them change enjoyable with 500PP. Maybe it's just my weakness, but that 550 is way too much if you want relaxing and non-mistake laps.

very fun this is. been in the e92 ///m3  not pulling the best times but its all good.

sorry i didn't wait for you volcano, didn't think we were doing it this event.

will do it next time, but i expect you to blow me away.

nice one.

I noticed this also mate, i suppose the punters cant catch us now with no RBE?

Did anyone test FWD cars?

I've had a go today with the '07 Impreza at 546PP (can't do more with this model) and it's a beautiful drive around Fuji on N3, laptimes are 1'54.xxx for me with a very good lap and managed a total race time of 9'42.xxx without hitting a 1'54. So some of the better drivers can probably match 1'53s and do 9'3x.xxx.

I was getting 1'59.xxx/2'00.xxx in the Elise 111R standard last night. I can see that a gridful of Elises will make for extremely close and fun racing, the T&L crew tried this last night and it was excellent, also the good news is the Evora was right on with the Elise too. Looking good for our Star Wars race...

All the best

It's all about the 07 STi for this track - you can really slide it round some of the bends without losing a lot of time. Good fun!

Anyone on now?

Ugh, its pretty obvious now how busted the PP system is...
There are zero competitive RWD cars now, and even most AWDs stink.
Fastest cars I've seen are the GT-R and the R8 ...and that's it. I can pull a 9'33.xxx race easily in the R8, but it looks like the GT-R is just a under a second a lap faster with an equal driver, and it'll prolly do a 9'29.xxx.

Most of the Japanese drivers are using the 07 STI, which I don't get, cause its pretty mediocre. Some Evoras too, but they're usually 7 seconds or more (yikes) a lap slower than the leaders...

i had yesterday great battles with Nivola and AyrtonSenna. both was racing with the WRX 07, they was running alltime around 9.27,xxx. 👍

You say STI is mediocre? It's the best car for this event. Like Rudi said, 9.27s is just how fast they are doing with them...try 9.26s and even 9.25s for a change, you will know what I mean. WRX STI is the best car and most stable for this track if you have the right setup and have what it takes to push this car to its limits and yourself. I was doing 9.27s as well. Keeping up with AyrtonSenna is not easy at all..that guy is fast. He did 9.26 when I ran with him....I was a second behind him.
