Reports of some large explosion at U.S. military facility in Sagamihara city (Kanagawa prefecture) of Japan. The cause is yet unknown. Reportedly, there were petroleum products and ammunition.

I think that my cousin, who is a Marine, is stationed either there or Okinawa, but is currently serving in Austraillia of all places for a while. I'll get in touch with him at a more respectable hour about the disaster.

Detonation itself doesn't seem too severe, but it looks like there's ammunition flying around and that's dangerous³.
Hope no one got killed.
