Export Garage to Spreadsheet....

Would anyone else like for PD to make this a function in GT5?

Just a little button that takes your garage and turns it into a simple spreadsheet.

I'd love for this to be a part of gran-turismo.com, where you can access and share the list of your entire garage, and all your other items.

I don't think this would be possible, as PD would probably have to obtain licences to use Microsoft Excel. Trust me, their very picky about that (Microsoft). Considering that Sony is a direct competition, I don't every expect it. The other issue with this is that not all players who'd want to use the spreadsheet option use Excel... but I don't know enough about the options. Maybe someone can think of an idea to that end.

You're right, they didn't specify. I kind of equate Excel to spreadsheets like Q-tips to cotton sticks. I stand corrected.
