Extended qualifying leaderboards ( suggestion to PD )

Like the most of you I've started to move on from GT6 to GT Sport last week, learning about the new game step by step.

I've been a big fan of the GT5 / GT6 seasonal time trials, as they've always provided great challenges. The best part to me was getting some good estimation where I stand compared to the world top drivers.
As for now it seems like GT Sport won't have similar events which is a bit of a pity to me.

Entering my first daily races yesterday I noticed the qualifying "top 10" leaderboards.
With a qualifying lap being nothing else but a time trial, I thought it would be great if these leaderboards could be extended to something like "top 1000" ... giving everybody who's not at alien pace a better overview.

I'm no IT specialist but I think this could be integrated easily. What do you guys think ? Interested too ?

I haven't tried this mode yet in GTS, but I remember GT6 having live ranking as you do a lap which shows instantly where you stand. Even if you don't get to be on the leaderboards, at least you have a ranking to build on.

It's a great kind of a reward to see where you're ranked ... seeing improvement after practice even more 👍 !

Even if they kept it to the top 250 like they have on the GT6 website, that would be better than just top 10. I'm NOT a top 10 player and probably never will be, but I have been a top 250 player a few times, and seeing that really helped me in the incentive department.

Now if they did a top 10 country by country statistic, that would be interesting to see...

That is something I would like to see, if for no other reason to befriend people you see around your times for perhaps a more competitive environment.

Same goes for race day.. at least showcase podium finish vs just 1st place and highlight the top 10. For a sim,Gt sure forgets to SIM a lot.
