Prologue
Fat Old Azz Men is a tuning garage as well as a group of individuals that enjoy racing. Formerly RXI from Forza Motorsport, a few of us have come to enjoy what Sony offers and where many of us started off with the pursuit of virtual racing.

Purpose
To share with the community our experience from real life and other games in order to produce cars that are built in such a manner that most any individual can enjoy their time racing online.

We build race cars for road racing in a door to door, handle to handle turn for turn competition. Our cars handle like a race car should handle. We don't build anything else so please don't ask. No bullets, rockets, sliding out of control, arcade cars.

A good example of this, in FM3 and FM2 we've had 4 cars side by side in an online race go through the corkscrew at Mazda Laguna Seca without incident...that is close racing! and how we intend to build and tune cars. On many occaisions we've had 3 cars side by side manuevering throug the same corkscrew.

What hardware and settings?​

We use a controller to setup and tune cars, typical not fancy stock simple controller.

Every car is tuned with ABS but no other assists. No traction control, no steering whatever helper, and no additional noise influences like our nagging wives. The glass of scotch on the seat is complimentary, beer extra and we don't do wine.

Thanks man, just getting in to it. I've had GT5 for about 5 days now...it's different and interesting. I had played GT1, GT2, GT3, FM1, FM2, FM3...various other games and enjoy racing in real life as well.

Look me up online anytime, I need someone to teach me how the rooms work lol!

Yeah it is different.Tuning is much different too,but once figured out it's not too bad.
