You must be available for the Saturday AND Sunday. The date will be announced shortly (not before Christmas, not before the end of January HOPEFULLY). On the Saturday we will have two qualifying sessions of half an hour, one for Driver A and one for Driver B (if you are a lone driver you will compete in both).

The times are then combined and the top 10 will be decided.

The top 10 shootout will then be conducted a short while later.

During these sessions the race official will be present and watching, the safety car driver will not be needed.

On the Sunday the room will be open at 9:30am AEDST with a 45 minute final practice sessions open to all drivers. Then finishing 15 minutes before race start, the track will be reset and the cars with their nominated starting driver will proceed to exit the pitlane. They will then line up on the grid in their boxes and sit there, conversing with their team mate about strategy etc and then a short drivers briefing.

Everyones mic will be muted at 10:25am, the warm up lap will commence and the cars will then return to their grid spots (or pit lane if you want to start from there). A time selected from the total time by the race official will be selected and the race will start.

The Race Official runs the room and the race. He has the power/s to hand out drive thru's, stop go's etc. Also the ability to call the safety car.

What determines a saftey car? Well if there is a crash that in real life would have caused one has occurred, the safety car will be called.

It will grab the leader, any lapped cars will NOT be instructed to move out of the way to unlap themselves.

You are allowed to pit under safety car.

Now for the rules/ room settings (if they are the same as GT5)

- Damage -
Heavy
- Slipstream - Weak
- Grip Reduct - Real
- Tyre/fuel dep - Normal

The Race Official will be allowed to give out penalties based upon any rule breaches of the GTPlanet OLR Rules & Guidelines. They are set and everyone can access them and understand them.

We hope this sounds good to you guys! If my YouTube channel gets it's final "check mark" before the race I'll be livestreaming the race from MY car's point of view. If you are interested in the last two spots for racing, reply using the "Driver A/ Driver B - Car" method (remember you CAN do it by yourself).

If you are interested in the Official or Safety Car Driver positions just comment with the details!

While there are 12 cars entered, possibly some of them won't be able to race on the date, SO if you want to race and there aren't any spots left, still either reply here or message me and we can throw you in if a spot comes available!

Testing will begin 1-2 weeks AFTER the game is released.

Thanks guys! :cheers::gtpflag::)

Hey Bernsy, what time zone did you put down in the rules? Is it Australian time, British or a time zone in America? I am wondering because I would like to race in a BMW Z4M and race by myself.

Is this race still up? I'd like to join, been dying to do a Bathurst 1000 since I drove on the circuit. I'll be on the Nissan with anyone else who wants to drive it as well.

Hi guys. Sorry for the late reply. As mentioned in an above comment I am extremely busy with work and other commitments and it hasn't subsided or looked to be ending.

So rather than keep racers hanging I will say it now officially it isn't going to happen (not being run by me anyway). I barely have enough time to jump on here and read the weekly rewind let alone run a race :(

Thanks guys for the patience/ interest but yeah, you will be hoping for someone else to host it/ come up with it!

Hayden.
