Hi.
Just got the dfgt a few days ago. Trying it in f1 2010. Haven't changed settings yet.

What could I try? I don't know anything about deadzone or any of that stuff.

I have no idea what would feel right.
Thank you.

It's going to have a lot to do with what feels good to you. Just try changing one thing at a time and see how it feels. I found adding some steering sensitivity was good for me. For some of them I changed the settings to half way, just to see what the difference was. Smaller changes were harder to notice for me.

btw, each of the settings has a description which should help you decide what you want to change and which direction.

Do it in a GP practice session, no harm done to your career.

I am going to play F1 2010 later today and I will post what my dfgt settings are at. I know I have the feedback all the way up. I am surprised that the feedback isn't that great compared to GT5.

Thanks.
I left settings default except the top one. It says higher will make straight line less wobly or whatever.

I tried 100% from the default 0%. Had to turn wheel all the way to turn. So ended up with 5&% which seemed ok for now.

I just watched f1 hungry grand prix on speed hd. Record all weekends. So I tried hungaroring in the game.

Did time trial. Started off slow to get a feel. 50mph and gradually faster. Hot to full speed after several laps. Had a blast! It's so awesome with the wheel.

My time was 1:28 though which isn't that good is it?

Practice is needed as 1:28 is pretty slow if I'm completely honest with you.:(

Is anyone on your PSN friendslist from here and has the game? If so, you could ask them to do a lap there so you can follow their ghost for a while.

I would volunteer but due to an injury I can't really turn the wheel to much at the moment.

Just polled and won first race. Always last till now with the wheel. It's so awesome. Montreal grand prix.

How do I change tire wear to on or off? I can't find that setting.

Thanks.

I meant to post my dfgt settings yesterday but I got sidetracked. Here they are and hopefully it helps you with your wheel:

steering deadzone : 0%

steering saturation: 75%

steering linearity: 50%

throttle deadzone: 0%

throttle saturation: 100%

brake deadzone: 0%

brake saturation: 100%

I also have the feedback on and everything is at 100% there. My next race is at Hungary actually so I'll edit this post after I see what my lap times are, just for comparisions sake.

edit: actually I am at Istanbul right now. After Monza it's my favorite track in the game.
