Michael Schumacher's Ferrari contract runs out at the end of 2006. Whilst he hasn't commented on whether this means retirement, I would say that it's likely.

With respect, I don't think that SPEED channel is sufficiently focussed on F1 to understand the politics and rumour.

Gday Aussie Bro, i agree with ya bout that^^ imo schumi wouldnt hav as many titles as he got if he didnt enjoy puntin his Rival of the track (Adelaide 94) that was a turning point in his career, yes i admit he is a great F1 Drvier but not the Best the Best Driver is one who not only can bring the best out of his team and machinery but also can drive with the best sportsmanship possible im trying to get into Motorsport myself in my local area and i would not like to win by pushin my rivals off the road thats just not racin thats cheetin in my book, well ive had my say i finally get too rant on bout the silly schu online wahooo!

I can't say I'm a big Shuey fan but I do recognise his immense talent as he was instrumental in turning a mid-pack team into multiple title winners. Unless you forgot - or didn't know - Ferrari hired him SOLEY to turn around a team that were, frankly, crap.
He was given more power than any driver had before in a team and within 3 years (or was it 2) he'd delivered. Can't knock him for that.
I think most people just have a problem with his personality. OK he comes across as being cocky but that's the way he is. Dont slag him off completely just for that. OK the team have favoured him over their other drivers but that's not uncommon in many sports.
Just remember, most 'bad' things that MS has done has been done by many others, including those who people regard as all-time greats.
But if u want my vote for best 'bad' driver... Hunt the Shunt has to take it!
