I feel we’ll be seeing some fun F1 generation-style custom races/championships from players soon!

I hope more like this emerge - this means that we’ll have an F1 car from:
  • 1950’s (Mercedes-Benz W196 R)
  • 1960’s (Honda RA272)
  • 1980’s (GT F1500T-A & McLaren MP4/4)
  • 1990’s (GT F3500-A as shown here)

Just need from the 1970’s and then stuff from 21st century and we are golden! I wonder if anymore cars will emerge like this soon - probably not but you never know.
Just imagine if they gave us the ability to change liveries on all cars on the grid without having to buy multiple cars for custom races? All authentic races would be much easier to set up.

On that topic, I've also thought of potential generic AOWR car ("F2650T-A" for a 90s one, for instance).
With selectable high- and low-downforce aero packages. Imagine a fleet of these screaming around Blue Moon Bay...

For some odd reason I just don't see it coming because "no official confirmation" , A lot of dreaming and speculation but no confirmation.
retracted erroneous statement...

Of... what?

We've seen the car in the game, they've used the car in the game on the broadcast, and one of the contracted Gran Turismo World Series presenters said it's coming to the game "relatively soon".

What else would you like confirmed?

Ok i am corrected and will retract my error....

Really not interested in another fantasy car. Oh well, onwards and upwards.

It's at best an unlicensed Williams FW14 just as the F1500T/A is just an unlicensed Lotus 97T, hardly " Fantasy" in the same way most of the Vision GTs are. Besides, it's coming alongside the Hyundai Ioniq N so it's not as if its the only car in the January update.

Maybe I'm harsh but for me any unlicensed cars equate to fantasy. Just the way I see things. The Ioniq N is fine since it's a fully licensed car.

I'm very pleased with PD for bringing back one of the classic GT3 monopostos. I really prefer them to be generic so there are no restrictions on use.

Earlier this year I had made this post.

I hope PD brings more generic F1 cars from the 90s, as was done in GT3 and also from previous and subsequent years.

And the important thing is to say, we need grand prix circuits, perhaps Imola and Silverstone.

This is a real neat amalgam of some ‘92-‘93 F1 cars. Going to guess…

A Williams FW13-inspired exterior, with the 15,000 RPM V12 engine of a Ferrari F93A, the steering wheel from a McLaren MP4/7A and the dashboard straight out of a Minardi M192.
I can't work out what the dash is from though.
Found it! :D

Is this panel from Minard? Does anyone have videos of the sound of this car? Because I found it very similar to the Williams from 91 to 94 (especially the Williams that Senna hitches a ride with Mansell) but the front wing is from the 1994 Ferrari.

The panel is certainly from the Minardi, yes.

As for the F3500’s sound, I think it’s easiest to hear the engine from the onboard cam, that V12 howl is distinct.

Thank you very much for posting the video. The car sounds like a V12, and it seems very Williams-inspired to me. The sound is incredible, even though the narrator never shuts up. But you could hear the beautiful symphony.
