Hi, is there anyone driving F1 on nurburgring? I found someone got the record for less than 5mins in time attack mode, but my best time is 5:11 (in the race, not time attack). Maybe it's a tuning problem, so does anyone have any idea to optimize the overall speed for that track?

Do you have the video for the person doing the sub-5 minute lap?

With a track as long as the 'Ring I'd expect driving skill (and luck) to matter more than tuning though. Sure it will help, but if you can get an almost perfect lap I'm sure the gain is even greater.

That's a great lap! Was this with no tunings?

If you want to go faster, learn more and more of the 'Ring, and it is possible to achieve a 4'XX.XXX. You must cut a few chicanes, and wallride on Karussel (part tarmac, part concrete hairpin).

If you want tunings, lower ride height, stiffness and dampers would help, although i would not suggest this, since there are a lot of curbs on track.

Just because there's easier and FASTER way to drive through chicanes doesn't mean you should attack them. I, personally, do not appreciate when I hit the wall, but in some cases, when I'm behind, and there are 3-4 turns left, I might go a little reckless, cut corners, cut off faster opponents trying to overtake me, hit the walls on 90 degrees corners. Not always, but I think it happened to every person here on forum.
