I for one am very pleased about this, as long as the new stuff is as good as the older stuff.

Anyone else pleased?

Honestly, I am actually sort of pleased. :P I'm not going to go out and be going crazy because yay they're back, as I'm not really that interested in this band. They're just better than the other mainstream stuff (because Patrick Stump can actually sing). And even just a good singer can make a band worth it.

Hm... I think I've listened to some of their music, - a long time ago. What "hit" it was, I don't recall.

Don't worry you're only 17, when you get older you'll grow out of them and start listening to real rock music. ;)

The new song is a good development that I actually quite liked unlike their older music. But overall I'm not that fussed that they are back, in fact the return has earned them a spot at the Reading and Leeds festival taking the place, potentially, of someone that I would actually have gone to see :indiff:

Considering the fact that Thin Lizzy, ACDC, Iron Maiden, Led Zep, Jimi Hendrix etc are amongst my favourite musicians...

I listen to all sorts of rock, so I like the occasional punk pop song. Not saying that all of Fall Out Boy's songs are brilliant, but they have their moments. For example, 'Grand Theft Autumn'.

So judgemental! ;)

 Don't know if that was directed at Dax, or me or both. But I'm guessing both, which makes it silly, because I'm actually more a fan of bands like Iron Maiden, Avantasia, Queensryche, Judas Priest. So I'm pretty sure I already do listen to proper rock (metal) music. :sly:

Yeah, pretty much this was what I was saying.

A collective groan heard throughout the world. ;) Bad news should always be balanced with good though... maybe Black Veil Brides will break up soon. :D A man/boy/hyperactiveteenager can dream!

My post was obviously just a joke, it's just I don't know anyone over the age of 18 that likes Fall Out Boy.

I hope you aren't comparing Black Veil Brides breaking up to be equal in goodness to Fall Out Boy getting back together in badness... if that makes sense....

Black Veil Brides are just awful.

I know you were joking, as was I. Just wanted you to know I listen to all sorts of rock. Also, like I said, I only like a couple of their songs. I know loads of people over 18 who are into that genre, for example, my dad was the one who showed me 'Bowling for Soup'.

Hey, isn't BFS the ones who's singing the title song of Phineas and Ferb (I think the song's called "Today's gonna be a great day" or something similar)?

That's the one. ;) Seen them play it live. :)

I only liked a few of their songs so it doesn't bother me that they are getting back together. I didn't even know they had broken up

God what did we do to deserve this.

Someone created a thing called MTV and we're having to pay back the consequences.

You better believe I am. :sly: Admittedly Fallout Boy aren't that bad.

Fall Out Boy is in no way comparable to Black Veil Brides. Just no. :grumpy:

Really happy about this, got to love some pop-punk! I'll be seeing them at Leeds Fest this summer along with Biffy and System of a Down, gonna be brilliant.

I don't get the massive amount of hate this genre gets to be honest, and that's coming from somebody who likes most genres of rock. Admittedly, I'm not too into metal but I'll listen to almost anything else, classic rock, post-hardcore, grunge, punk, alternative etc.

Finally, someone agrees!

Quite jealous about you seeing SOAD... :(
