Fanatec 911 wheel - Retail version

Hi everyone,

Has anyone received their 911 wheel yet? I mean the retail version which was shipped and supposed to be arriving this week?

Here is an email received from Fanatec:

Dear Porsche wheel customers

I am pleased to announce that we finally shipped all wheels last week and that they will arrive tomorow in Europe and on Wednesday in the USA. After customs clearance, we will immediatly send them to you and you should receive the wheel early to mid of next week. The new wheels also require new drivers which will be available through the automatic updater software which is included on the USB stick. I am sure you will enjoy all the enhancements of the wheel which have been implemented in the last months.

I was also wondering if anyone had recieved them.I'm interested in seeing the final product w/changes before I switch from the beta wheel to final.They really need to do something w/the drivers-it gets old restarting my system too shut off driver auth. sig. every time I wanna use my wheel.

No,it was forecasted to be this week in the USA, as I understand it, but that depends on the wheels getting through customs and security quickly which may be a problem.

I do wish I had a tracking number for it, maybe I will once it is in the hands of the USA shipper?
