Fanatec Clubsport F1 steering wheel too small or not ?

Been used of the Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 wheel add-on 28cm , on open wheelers and gt3 cars will the Fanatec's 26cm wheel be too small? Or it is better for this use?
I am about to buy csl elite ps4 version starter kit and i might also buy the Clubsport formula.
Did anyone in here did this kind of swap ?

I have the Formula rim which I use on my CSW V2 and I find the size pretty much perfect for a single seater rim. It’s certainly not too small.

Not too small at all. Great for single seaters and gt cars etc. Also I think the diameter is actually closer to 27cm than 26cm.

I just bought a CSL Elite PS4 and I was asking myself the exact same question ! From my memories with the F1 add on on my T500RS, the 28 cm size was perfect. 26 cm sounds a little small but I never tried it... This ISR review talks about the size.

The new GT3 wheel is available for pre order on Fanatec website but 30 cm seems a bit too big for an open wheel car.

If you have one, could you measure it ? :)

Hard to get the right angle for a photo but I think it's 26,8cm on it's widest point.

Thank you so much for that ! Beautiful in the carbon version :embarrassed:

I think I know what I will order for christmas :D

I have the F1 Carbon. It is beautiful, but I would wait for the McLaren.

I also love the McLaren but 30cm is a little big for open wheel, and the price is 280€ (with QR) versus 230€ for the formula rim.

I will probably buy the McLaren next year anyway... YES I'm addicted to rims, I never should have swapped from TM to Fanatec, too many temptations, especially with the HUB (already bought one, this is such a GREAT product, I will perhaps do a review...)

If you will buy both, then no need to wait. You will love the Carbon one. Yes the rims are expensive but well worth it. They are well made.

For the GT3/GTE is perfect the 30 cm.

Looking at the wheels on the C7R or something even though its like a Formula wheel shape(cut off top and bottom) its still probably 30cm in OD(or bigger actually). I like that the McLaren wheel is like that.

I received my F1 rim (not carbon) yesterday as a Christmas gift. When I opened it and held it for the first time I was a little worried about it being too small. But after mounting it on the base (CSL Elite Ps4) and running the Porsche LMP car around the Nordschleife I can say this rim is amazing. I set the SEN setting to 360 and its very responsive. Very happy with it so far.
