Fanatec clubsport QR just arrived. Sounds completely broken. Any ideas anyone?

Pretty sure that's "normal". At least that's what fanatec CS will tell you.
I think there are some "fixes"; tape around the shaft, security bolt. Though that makes it a non-QR.

I originally ordered a metal QR1 because the plastic one that came with the DD PRO shattered. To fix that I got the metal QR1 that has rattling issues as well. I'm using the security bolt now cause I'm not switching wheels for the time being.
I think getting back into fanatec ecosystem was a mistake on my part.

That’s normal? I’ve never heard a deafening rattle on any stream I’ve watched. I’ve put the plastic one back on and it’s much better. That can say it’s normal but it really isn’t.

If the bolt is attached like u state and still making that noise surely something is wrong. Attached a qr1 with the bolt yesterday and all is good.
The black springy bit rattles quite a bit when it’s off the wheel. Not sure if that’s normal

Anyone have any idea when the QR2 will drop?

FWIMBW, I've heard that manufacturing tolerances allow for small deviations, so if you happen to have a shaft that's a tiny-bit thinner and a QR that's a tiny bit wider, there's bound to be play, this scenario's yielding the greatest amount of play, of course, with everything else sitting somewhere between this and zero play.

That’s normal low creep speed nuance of GT7. Can make any system sound like chatter.
These "QR" clicking sounds (and the play/flex, which according to @Fanatec... isn't a problem at all) are a common complaint among Fanatec's users. My Thrustmasters have never made such noises, no matter how fast or slow I went. Also TM's "QR" doesn't flex.
