Here’s a video. https://share.icloud.com/photos/08eb_hUjtse0QSbyLnnQQ7vOQ
That’s normal? I’ve never heard a deafening rattle on any stream I’ve watched. I’ve put the plastic one back on and it’s much better. That can say it’s normal but it really isn’t.Pretty sure that's "normal". At least that's what fanatec CS will tell you.
I think there are some "fixes"; tape around the shaft, security bolt. Though that makes it a non-QR.
I originally ordered a metal QR1 because the plastic one that came with the DD PRO shattered. To fix that I got the metal QR1 that has rattling issues as well. I'm using the security bolt now cause I'm not switching wheels for the time being.
I think getting back into fanatec ecosystem was a mistake on my part.
The black springy bit rattles quite a bit when it’s off the wheel. Not sure if that’s normalIf the bolt is attached like u state and still making that noise surely something is wrong. Attached a qr1 with the bolt yesterday and all is good.
This bolt has a habit of loosening so I would check it out.The video is with bolt attached btw
Nope. Mine doesn't.The black springy bit rattles quite a bit when it’s off the wheel. Not sure if that’s normal
That’s normal low creep speed nuance of GT7. Can make any system sound like chatter.
These "QR" clicking sounds (and the play/flex, which according to @Fanatec... isn't a problem at all) are a common complaint among Fanatec's users. My Thrustmasters have never made such noises, no matter how fast or slow I went. Also TM's "QR" doesn't flex. That’s normal low creep speed nuance of GT7. Can make any system sound like chatter.
