Fanatec Clubsport Wheel no gears or starts in 3rd gear everytime

Is anyone else having this issue?

CSW + BMW rim
Clubsport pedals
037 firmware

GT6 update 1.01

Running in PS3 mode which as far as I can tell is emulating a G27 wheel

When it works it is fine usually but getting it to work from start up is a problem, I would love some help if possible.

I either start up the race using manual gears and I have no drive at all, I cannot select any gears but it still shows on screen that I am in that gear, but its as if I am in neutral. Other times when I get it working by rebooting the wheel it then starts me in 3rd gear every time. This isn't as big a problem obviously but its hassle having to change down to 1st starting off every time from a standstill, or change up again quickly if a rolling start.

Is there any specific order to turning what on first: e.g. Turn wheel on, turn ps3, boot ps3 mode on wheel, boot GT6?

I have tried various orders, no difference so far.

Update:
It is also happening during mid race as well, just lose all drive as if I went into neutral. Have to reboot the wheel and try again. Seriously hampering my experience.

Sounds similar to what I've seen. Stuck in Neutral is a good way to describe it.

Yes its like being stuck in neutral. It would be nice if Polyphony supported Fanatec wheels officially so we could get the proper drivers required.
