Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals do not work.

Last week I purchased a new Clubsports V2.5 base, BMW GT2 wheel and CSL Elite pedals. No matter what I try the CSL pedals do not work. I have them hooked to the wheel base. When I go into the Fanatec setup application all the buttons on the wheel work, the wheel rotation works, but no input from the pedals is detected. The pedals are not detected by games if I try and set controls. I have tried backdating drivers, and firmware, I am currently on the beta drivers again. I have tried putting the pedals into the snifter slot on the wheel base and seeing if they are recognized that way, nothing. I have tried to Email Fanatec support but nothing as of yet. I don't see a US number I can call for support either. I even updated my Mobo bios and USB drivers. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Fanatec software. Unfortunately I already sold my Thrustmaster setup. I have no doubt that this is going to be a great product, I am just concerned as I have heard that dealing with customer support can take months and I don't want to have to seek a refund, I just want the pedals to work. Any ideas?

Try a 2nd computer and/or PS4?

I really just need a way to contact support, their phone goes straight to voicemail, the only way I got through to a live person was via the phone number they list on the paypal transaction and when I did she just rudely sent me to the same voicemail i've left messages at already.

There is a "Contact Us" button on their website. I have found the turnaround time after lodging a support request to be a few hours to a day or so - not months...

I have been all over that contact us button, as well as calling every Endor USA phone number I can dig up. I even PM'd the CEO on here. I'd like to get this resolved since in the next few months I'd love to order some CS V3 pedals.

Install the Fanatec drivers on your PC. Then, connect the pedals directly to the PC. Open up the controller properties for the pedals. there will be a box that says something along the lines of "enable manual calibration." Uncheck it if it's checked and close the properties panel, and then try the pedals directly connected to the wheel.

If it's already unchecked, check it. Then uncheck it. Close the properties window. Try directly connected to the wheel.

In ALL cases, never have the pedals connected to USB AND the wheel. This happens quite a bit and will either not work or give strange results.

I should have said this first... Connect them via USB directly to the PC, if they work, it's probably what I mentioned above... If not, it's very likely you have something connected wrong or you have manual calibration on the pedals turned on.

It is very easy to contact us. Just go to the "contact" page on Fanatec.com

We even have live chat so you get immediate response.

If you follow the correct steps it is much faster than posting something in a forum.

There is no way to connect the CSL pedals to the USB directly. I am going buy a RJ12 cable and see if it's just a bad cable. Actually the first reply I have gotten from Fanatec has been on a forum. I contacted support through he "contact us" the day I got the pedals, support did email me today for the first time asking for a video so I sent that in. Not trying to be salty, just hoping to get this resolved this week, which factoring in shipping time wont happen. I do not see the live chat anywhere, maybe its being blocked on my browser?

Sent in the video yesterday morning, again no reply... Looked for live chat until 12am last night, nothing, this morning nothing. No ad blocker and tried 2 different browsers.

Curious if there is any update on this. Was it just a bad cable? Reason I ask, is I'm having the same issue with my v3 pedals that I just received yesterday. Plug in through the base, they don't work. Plug in via usb to the PC and they register and work. Check and uncheck manual calibration then go back to the RJ12 and still nothing.

I really hope this is just a bad cable as I can always go and buy one very quickly, vs. having to wait for a week or so for fanatec to send out a new component.

I have contacted Fanatec on their website and as well I had no option to live chat with anybody.

I just purchased the CSL Elite pedals LC with the intention to use them with my Logitech G27. Is this possible? When I connect them via USB directly to PC they show up in my Windows PC Game Controllers List and I can calibrate them. However, when I attempt to assign them to functions in pCars2, for example, they do not show up in that game. Fanatec site says that there are no Drivers for these pedals, and no Drivers are needed when they are connected thru a Fanatec wheelbase/wheelbase drivers. What about when they are connected directly to a PC? Thanks in advance for any advice.........cheers...:cheers:

There are drivers listed in the downloads section https://www.fanatec.com/us-en/pedal...net&utm_campaign=General+Links&a_aid=gtplanet
I have also updated the firmware for the LC pedals.

Thanks for posting that Super GT. I was wondering how come I wasn't seeing it either. Guess it depends on the time as you said.

Just an update, got a call this morning. They are sending me a new pedal controller and cable. All in all the support is not bad, it could be quicker, but really I am just impatient.
Glad to hear you got a response Rennen. Just last night I myself got a similar issue. During some lobby races all of a sudden I was getting no input from the accelerator. No problem earlier on just all of a sudden during a later race, same private lobby. In my case I'm getting input from the brakes, just not the accelerator.
Keep us updated and let us know how or if it worked out for you with what you get.
