Fanatec CSR problems (anyone else?)

Anyone else having issues with their CSR? I've used mine for Forza 4 for over a year with no issues, so I am assuming GT6 bugs.

1. Multiple times if I start a race that isn't a rolling start, the gas doesn't work. The engine revs when I press the pedal, but the car won't move. I try the clutch, every button. Nothing makes it move. I first noticed this when one of my kids was racing Arcade and crashed straight into a wall and came to a dead stop. Even switching to automatic doesn't solve the problem. To solve the problem, I can switch out to a dualshock pad and make the car move. Even if I bring it to a dead stop again, if I switch back to the wheel and pedals, they now work.

2. I noticed in a race earlier today that it was like the wheel just cut out. I drive in cockpit view and I would turn the wheel and nothing would happen. This would be right in the middle of a turn. No FFB against my turn. The hands on the screen wouldn't turn either. I've only noticed this a few times in my about 5 hours of racing.

I am completely new to GT. Haven't played GT since the first one years ago. Maybe I'm missing something on my first issue?

Update: I'm using Clubsport V2 pedals.

Check your leads are not working themself loose from the wheel, done this a few times to me when i caught them with my knees etc.

I wouldn't think the engine would rev when I press the pedal if the connections were bad. Everything seems like it is working. The brakes light, the engine revs. I can turn the wheel. Every button seems to work. The car just doesn't move. I'm not in that state now, so nothing to check now. I did pull and put back all the connections just in case.

Switching to a pad then back to the wheel solves the problem too, so I really think it's a software issue.

I'm new to GT and I just bought a PS3 for it so new to the PS3 too, so asking here in case I'm doing something stupid.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I've been racing all weekend with my csr wheel and csr elite pedals and only encountered an issue once. At the start of a rolling start race, a fully depressed accelerator only resulted in about three thousand rpm. This sometimes happened to me in Forza 4 as well, my theory is something weird happens when I'm absent mindedly press in the pedals while waiting for a race to load. Anyway, just turning the wheel off and rebinding it has always worked for me. I can't remember what firmware I'm running on the wheel, you might want to check your firmware and drivers if your issues persist. Maybe even drop Fanatec a line.

Here's a forum that might be helpful. http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/5065299.aspx it's on the Forza site but the csr is after all a Forza branded wheel. There's a guy that has that thread, Savoury69 who helps people out with their Fanatec problems and he's very knowledgeable. He should be able to help, good luck!
