Fanatec disappointment

Right then....... I haven't posted here for quite a while.
GT7 has come out and I've drummed the usual and updated my equipment. Well I say I have...... I've tried to.........
I've ordered my GT DD PRO that was moved to waiting to dispatch. A couple of days later I also ordered a club sport RS wheel with the podium paddles and caps and stickers along with SRM carbon paddle upgrade.
The paddles arrived 2 days after ordering them. Fanatec haven't updated the dispatch of the wheel or GT DD pro and have given no update. Are they always like this? I can't believe how poor this customer service is. The advertise that you can call them between 2-4pm central European time. I called them. You get an answering machine them it cuts you off. You try live chat, it says you are number ## in the queue and it'll be however many minutes. It then kicks you off and says nobody is available.......

Seriously, have they always been this bad? Before anyone says anything my other for the DD pro was in the group that was meant to be dispatched on Monday.

Any help would be amazing.

Fanatec haven't updated the dispatch of the wheel or GT DD pro and have given no update.

I got my DD Pro a few days ago. The order page only said it was processed. When I made the order, it said it becomes available for purchase on April 4th. I made the order March 21st. I got a random text message from FedEx saying I had a package arriving on the 28th, received text last Friday. Was literally expecting to wait over a month for the DD Pro given the product page said it will be available for shipping on that date which was perfect timing for me as I am still needing to figure out a way to mount it and properly use it.

I'm guessing Fanatec is just swamped with orders and shipping that they're trying to get all order filled. Without knowing just how many people are staffed, they may just be too busy. They may not even have a good enough ordering system to provide automated updates to accounts as orders are filled and shipped out, given what I just experienced.


As an aside, I find desk mounting with my setup is the way to go for the time being since i'm space limited but I'll need to build a box to mount the pedal to because otherwise to use the pedal, my chest is mere inches from the face of the wheel and that just isn't going to work to use the wheel correctly.

Have to say I've had the opposite experience. I was expecting my order to ship on the 6th April but instead received everything on the 29th March.

Did anyone manage to order anything from Fanatec recently? It shows this message:

"Due to logistical reasons shipping is currently temporarily suspended. We are working hard on getting your order on the way! Thank you for your understanding"

Pointless to place an order right?

I bought DD pro 8nm with load cell 2 weeks ago. Ordered on monday and the wheel arrived on Friday. I have to admit that delivery was much faster than I could even expect since I live in Norway. It usually takes looooong time to get something from EU so my experience is quite good
