fanatec gt3 rs wheel and csr pedals problem on ps3

Iv bought a fanatec gt3 rs wheel and csr pedals on ebay and wheel connects and work with ps3 fine but when the pedals are plugged in they will work as buttons for menu selection but when I go on track on gt6 on ps3 the accelerator and brake are on half throttle before I press anything. When I press accelerator or brake pedal it cuts out and I get no brake or accelerator at all. I have swapped sensors around to test if one of the sensors have gone but it does it on all pedals no matter which way around I set them up. The firmware on the wheel is 756 which is the lastest. Any ideas what could be the problem?? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. thanks

connect the wheel to the ps3.
power on the wheel.
goto PC-mode first.
fully depress all the pedals a few times.
goto ps3 mode.
Should work for fine.

Thanks but it still does the same thing when I go on track ? Dunno if it could be the ps2 to rj11 cable or something else wrong

Yeah, you're right I haven't been using my GT3RS for a while. After you put it into PS3 mode and the first thing you inside GT6/5 is to press all the pedals. That should work. You can also test to use the ps2 connector on the other side. If I remember correctly. Do you have a Windows PC around to test things?

Could be the cable. Do you have access to another ps2 cable? if you own the shifters as well you can use the shifter cable to test things out.

Hey sorry I got it fixed last night . It was the throttle sensor potienometer I think its called. I had to clean it with electrical spray and now it works fine and no spikes or anything . Thanks for the help was googling all weekend for a fix lol

Now that you have it fixed... what do you think of the GT3 wheel and csr pedals? Have you had any others to compare it to?

So far I really like the wheel and pedals . The tunable wheel is really good. U can set it up how u like it. Not had enough time to get really fast times with it yet but im out of practice with wheels and pedals atm but its deffo more to my liking that the logitech wheels iv used or had .
