Fanatec Porsche Carrera Wheel Help

I would be grateful if you guys could help me with a little setup thing Im having problems setting up the gear stick and clutch, I know about holding Triangle before a race, but I keep ending up starting in gear 6, any help would be great, Thanks!

EDIT: DONE! I have never used a FFB wheel before and just though that it was vibrations, but it is much better...... thanks Fanatec for a great wheel.

Well if your looking for a review, I'm probably not one to give you it but...

Arrived and I had a massive smile on my face. Unpacked it, set it up on a 'make-do' setup. I can't really describe it, but it's excellent. The rubber grip feels less comfortable than leather but not uncomfortable, you feel like racing took me a good two hours to get used to it, but it is fantastic...... you'll be amazed tomorrow.......
